War Trophies

The Department of Defence, Government of India, gifted two war trophies to the school run by the Trust to inspire students and foster a spirit of nationalism

  • Jaguar Fighter Aircraft: Gifted by the Indian Air Force, it was inaugurated on January 24, 2023, by Retd. Air Chief Marshal Pradeep Naik
  • Army Tank (T55 Anurag): Played a crucial role at the Punjab border during the 1965 and 1971 India-Pakistan wars. Gifted by the Indian Army, it was inaugurated on December 13, 2017, by Retd. Lt. Colonel Viraj Lad (4th Battalion, Jammu & Kashmir Rifles)

Both war trophies aim to inculcate patriotism and raise awareness among students about the functioning of India’s Armed Forces

Murals

The Trust features prominent murals across its campus premises to celebrate history, national leaders, and student achievements:

  • Lokmanya Tilak and Veer Savarkar Murals: Created as a tribute to freedom fighters Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Swatantrya Veer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, these murals depict their journey in India’s independence struggle. Planned by well-known artist Shri Suhas Bahulkar and carved by artist Shri Ashok Sonkusre, they are installed in the Hospital and Medical College premises for students and visitors to draw inspiration. They were inaugurated on April 12, 2019, by Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi
  • School Entrance Murals: Located at the entrance of S.V.J.C.T.’s English Medium School, these murals celebrate the energy, talent, and achievements of the students
