Dervan Vigyan Mahotsav

Dervan Vigyan Mahotsav celebrated as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav – 75 Years of Indian Independence, an initiative of Govt. of India to activate India by fuelling it with the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat. The theme of this Vigyan Mahotsav is based on the five pillars viz. Freedom Struggle, Ideas@75, Actions@75, Achievements @ 75 and Resolves@75 focusing on the issues of current relevance such as nutrition and health, indigenous technology, environment, education and energy for self-reliant India.
This Mahotsav is organized to enlighten students about the contributions of Indian scientists to the freedom struggle and to showcase India’s journey in science and technology, from its rich traditional knowledge to modern advancements. The event features addresses by eminent personalities and interactive discussions with experts from various scientific and technological fields, continuing under the theme “Broadening the Horizons.”
